Winter hiking in Ehrwald in Tyrol
A special winter experience in the Zugspitz Arena
The Tyrolean mountain world is calling! Hike through the snow up to the ski hut and enjoy the high-altitude air together with the dreamlike winter panorama. A hike of almost 4 km leads from the Ehrwalder Alm to the Talblick viewpoint. This is where you can enjoy great views of your picturesque holiday region.
Or make the valley your next winter hiking destination: You can, for example, hike from the Hotel Der Grüne Baum along the Plattenweg to the Zugspitzbahn mountain railway or go via the Sonnenhanglifte and the Kuhgasse to the Ehrwalder Almbahn.
Over 60 km of cleared or prepared winter hiking trails await winter hikers in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
This makes the winter experience even more intense: Hike through the virtually untouched mountain world on snowshoes in deep snow without getting bogged down: This can be both romantic and sporty, depending on which routes you choose for your snowshoe hikes.
We very much hope you enjoy snowshoeing and winter hiking in Ehrwald on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze!
