This cosy, family-run holiday hotel in the centre of Ehrwald enjoys a wonderful location at the foot of the Zugspitze.

Combining friendly service and a high-quality cuisine, the hotel offers, in addition to a cosy restaurant and a wellness area, wide choice of massages, a ski cellar, a large children's playroom and a wonderful sun terrace in the hotel's interior courtyard.

In summer the hotel is a starting point for beautiful mountain hikes on over 90 hiking and climbing trails. Cylists will enjoy one of Austria's finest regions for mountainbiking. In the immediate vicinity, there is a 9-hole golf course, surrounded by a beautiful landscape.

In winter there are over 120 kilometres of ski slopes in every degree of difficulty, for beginners as well as for pros. Snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating, curling, a skipass service, a free skibus service as well as cross-country skiing (use our hotel's ski rental) complete the winter offer.

Popular destinations for daytrips include Innsbruck, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Füssen, the royal palaces of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and Linderhof, the village of Oberammergau - famous for its Passion Play -, the Ettal Abbey and the Wies Church.

The whole experience: courtesy of staff, the spacious room with a great view, excellent hotel restaurant, location of the hotel.

The hotel only provided liquid soap in a dispenser located by the sink. No solid soap or shampoo or any other toilletry items were provided whatsoever.

1. Keine Kinderbetreuung mehr. 2. Kein Infomaterial auf dem Zimmer. 3. Kaputte Duschtüre. 4. Peinliches Nachtessen: zähe Schnitzel, Portionen für Überlandfahrer (-3- Stück...), Dessert: Käse mit Trauben, nicht mal Eis fürs Kind. 5. Frühstücksauswahl bieder. 6. Wir reisten nach einer Nacht ab, mussten 90 % (vertraglich korrekt, moralisch enttäuschend) für Nichts mehr zahlen.
